12-year-old Mikayla Pieratt on her way to compete in Junior Olympics for Javelin –

Mikayla Pieratt just started Javelin about a  year ago, when she was watching others at a track meet and realized she might be successful in that sport.

And successful she is, so much so that she is off to Sacramento at the end of the month to compete in the Junior Olympics.
