The Michigan Department of Transportation is closing the Sandstone Rest Area for maintenance Monday, Aug. 5 through early September.
The rest area is on Interstate 94 near Jackson in south central Michigan.
This work will require closing the Sandstone Rest Area for parking lot resurfacing and truck scale construction.
