High Bar Brands (HBB), a provider of commercial vehicle solutions, has announced its acquisition of BettsHD, a division of the Betts Company, based in Fresno, Calif.
The BettsHD brand, known for its metal fenders and mud flap hangers, will become part of HBB’s portfolio. HBB will collaborate with key BettsHD employees to integrate the brand into the HBB line over the coming months, aiming to streamline the customer experience, the company said in a release.
“We’re excited to welcome a well-known brand like BettsHD to the High Bar Brands family,” said HBB president and chief executive officer Christopher Thorpe in a news release.
“BettsHD brings a dynamic product range, and we’re thrilled to enhance our spray suppression offerings by including mud flap hangers and metal fenders,” added Derek Quys, senior vice-president of sales and business development at HBB. “This acquisition enables us to better serve customers who prefer to purchase products by category.”
The acquisition is part of HBB’s strategy to integrate family-owned businesses into its sales and marketing framework.
High Bar Brands’ portfolio includes Minimizer, Premier Manufacturing, Dieter’s Accessories, and Viking Sales.
